One Pot Sausage and Bush’s Beans Ragout

A simple and comforting one-pot meal highlighting 2 varieties of Bush's Beans Adapted from Perfect One Dish Dinners Cookbook

Ingredients

  • 1 18 ounce package Kielbasa sliced into 1/4 inch disks
  • 1 18 ounce package Sweet Italian sausage links
  • 2 14.5 ounce cans diced tomatoes
  • 1 large onion quartered
  • 4 Tablespoons minced garlic
  • 3 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
  • 2 cans Bush's Great Northern beans undrained
  • 1 can Bush's Mayocoba beans undrained

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°
  • In a large oven proof French Oven, mix sausages, diced tomatoes, onion, garlic cloves, olive oil, Italian seasoning, bay leaves, salt and pepper.
  • Cook for 45 minutes.
  • Remove pot from oven and stir in beans.
  • Cook an additional 10 minutes, or until beans are heated through.
  • Remove bay leaves and serve ragout alone or over rice.
