Baby, it’s cooooold outside! I think it is high time we celebrate one of our favorite comfort foods.…… SOUP!
Soup is one of those things that everyone can equate back to their childhood. My mom always made the best chicken noodle soup, served on our silver “sick tray” in bed when we were under the weather. When you come in from a cold day of snow fort building, what do you want? Soup!
and like every great party……..there will be PRIZES from some fabulous sponsors!!
Bush’s Beans, Hip Hostess, Pillsbury and Westminster Crackers

Favorite soup recipe … that’s like asking to pick your favorite child! Maybe I can narrow it down to the Top 100 …
Burned out our immersion blender a while ago, and got a very nice Cuisinart replacement from the in-laws for Christmas. In danger of burning it up as much as we’re using it. Trying to figure out if there’s anything that can’t be turned into soup with enough blending horsepower.
Cheers!

I made a creamy cauliflower soup tonight from American’s Test Kitchen. I “healthified” it a bit, and my boys (hubby included) said “it’s a keeper.” It was amazing! So healthy, so delicious… and sort of easy. I’ll be posting it on Feb 15th to my blog!

We eat soup almost every day and it will be pretty hard to choose the favorites! This is a great idea even without the prizes. Looking forward to reading what other bloggers like to make.

Love this idea because soup is one of my favorite things about this time of year, including a warm fire in the fireplace, hot drinks like coffee and apple cider, and soft warm fuzzy socks! Looking forward to finding some awesome new soup recipes, as well as participating with one from The Chef!
