Happy Friday and for us, the last day of school!
I’m so happy to have summer here. We’ve had a great last couple weeks of school…lots and lots of celebrating and fun activities, but now I get to have everyone home for the summer and that makes me happy!
I’m inching closer and closer to launching the podcast, and I’m asking for some help from you all!
The Two Handed Coffee Talk Podcast
First let me tell you about the name. I believe when you are holding your coffee mug with two hands, you are less likely to succumb to common distractions, and are more likely to be connected to the people and world around you. The podcast is all about connecting with a guest and the listeners – as if we were having coffee together.
I envision this being my Oprah moment…where a guest and I just talk about the interesting things on our minds, big and small. I’m looking for people who are willing to join me on the podcast – and this is where you come in! The podcast will be funny, serious, heart warming, encouraging, touching, and more…just depending on what YOUR story is! Simply put, if we’d talk about it over coffee, we’ll talk about it on the podcast!
Would you be interested in joining me or do you know someone I really need to connect with? If so, please fill out this quick form so we can connect! CLICK HERE FOR THE FORM.
Guests don’t have to be bloggers or have a significant online presence (although I’d love to talk to those people too)…but anyone who has a story to tell or things to talk about, I’d love to hear from you! Thanks in advance – and pass the survey link on to anyone you think might be interested. I believe we ALL have a story to tell, and I’d love to be a part of sharing that story with anyone who will tune in.
Now, let’s move on to things that made me happy this week!
I’ve been having this quick and tasty low carb meal almost every day for lunch lately!
This blogger took over my Friday snapchat coffee talk today, and I became an even bigger fan. Check out her blog and follow dineanddish on Snapchat to see what she had to say today!
I’ve shared this everywhere I can think of, but if you haven’t seen this yet you MUST…it’s the best, most motivational, encouraging piece of honest perspective I’ve seen in awhile.
I doubt this applies to many but if you have a child with Dyslexia and/or Dysgraphia, I am so happy a friend told me about these two computer programs. I’m hoping these are a game changer for my daughter with Dysgraphia.
The Gift of Being Content – this is a great read!
I think I just figured out how to win the best mom on the block award…I’m making THESE, stat!
If you need me this summer, I’ll be outside playing this, all the live long day.
These cocktails make me wish I hadn’t given up alcohol. They would for sure be my drink of the summer.
Instead, I’ll sip on these for a refreshing drink this summer.
I’ve been in a book rut lately, so was very thankful a friend introduced me to this author. I’m obsessed and can’t stop reading his books! So far, this one is my fave.
That’s it for this week, friends. Jacob has a baseball tournament all weekend, the kids have birthday parties to attend and we are gathering with friends to celebrate the retirement of our favorite first grade teacher – through tears, I’m sure!
Make sure to write back and let me know what’s making you happy lately.
