July 2nd– Write a letter. Write a letter and leave it in a public space for someone to find.

July 10th – Devotion – spend some time telling the people in your life what you really love about them today.
Happy Tip (HT) – For those of you interested in something a bit more faith based for this prompt, I can’t recommend this daily devotional enough. It’s a classic and the best way to start your morning!
July 11th – Childhood book – read your favorite book from your childhood.
(HT) – I recently have been so happy reading this book from my childhood to my daughters. It’s a great classic!
July 12th – Happy Food Picnic. Pack a basket full of your favorite foods (even junk food) and have a picnic in the park!
(HT) – Whatever you do, don’t forget the insect repellant (you can make your own!). Keep those pesky bugs from ruining your summer picnic.
July 13th – Campfire songs – break out your old girl scout song book and sing some campfire songs. No campfire required!
(HT) – Bree and I have shared this a million times so far since January 1, but we LOVE this app for meditation. Seriously, if you’ve yet to try meditation, now is a great time to give it a try.
July 15th – Water Day – have some friends over and enjoy a good, old fashioned water fight.
(HT) This Pinterest board is packed full of water play ideas.
July 16th– Lightning bugs – if you live in an area with lightning bugs, head outside at night and catch lightning bugs (then release them, of course!)
(HT) Even if you don’t live where lightning bugs exist, you’ll find this fascinating.
July 17th – BBQ! Fire up the grill and cook outside. Turn off the oven and head outdoors. Bonus – buy some paper plates for virtually no clean up!
Happy Tip (HT) – This is one of my family’s favorite summertime recipes. You can even grill some dessert.
July 18th – Nature Walk. Take a nature walk and discover the sights and sounds of the wilderness. Look for a new trail near you.
(HT) – Here are some nature walk tips. Bringing the kids? Put this book in your backpack.
July 19th – Meme! We love a meme around here! My husband and I can have full on conversations just using memes.
(HT) – Where to find funny memes? Here and here are good places to start.
July 20th – Take a selfie! You are gorgeous, so take a picture.
(HT) – I tend to be fairly conservative on my hands, but will try just about any color on my feet. Need some color inspiration?
July 22nd – Visit a historical site. Do a google search and see what is around your town. Playing tourist in your own town is always fun and you learn so much about where you live.
(HT) Obviously, there is an app for that. I’m going to give this one a try.
July 23rd– Fire pit. Light up the fire and grab some s’more making ingredients. Grab a blanket and get cozy around the fire.
(HT) You can DIY a fire pit for less than $60.
July 24th – Make a meal that you found off of Pinterest. There is endless inspiration to be found!
Happy Tip (HT) – This is one of my family’s favorites. It’s one of the rare meals that everyone in my family will eat without complaint.
July 25th – Declutter your linen closet. This is a task that gives me immense satisfaction when it is done.
(HT) – Need some help folding the dreaded fitted sheet? Also some tips for folding and organizing towels.
July 26th – Self-love. Take time getting ready this morning and focusing on making yourself feel and look great!
(HT) – Slow down your entire morning and make your days more pleasurable by following some of these tips.
July 27th – Pay it forward. It doesn’t take a lot to do something nice for someone.
(HT) Need some ideas on what to do? Here are 50 pay it forward ideas to get you going.
(HT) – In this hot weather, a nice cold bottle of water can do wonders for someone. If you want to go above and beyond giving water, here are some other ideas to spread summer kindness.
July 29th – Dance party! Put on some music and bust a move!
(HT) When I’m in a bad mood, I watch dance videos. I love following this hashtag.
July 30th– Christmas in July! Throw up some twinkle lights, bake some cookies, listen to a Christmas playlist.
(HT) – Is it too hot where you are to sip a hot chocolate? Try a frozen version instead.
July 31st – July Happy Check! What made you happy this month?
Bree – My kids have been absolute troopers and I am so proud of how well they have handled this crazy transition.
Kristen – This summer I purchased season tickets to a local theatre that shows the touring Broadway shows. This week was Something Rotten with my daughter Kelly and it was so funny and good! Definitely go see it if you ever have the chance!
