This giveaway is now closed. The winners were Shari from Tickled Red and Joshua. Congrats to you both!
It’s the time of year when Dear Santa letters start to stuff the mailboxes of neighborhoods everywhere. Dolls, toy trains, clothes and more show up on many lists. I’m glad that Santa takes care of all of that for us, as sometimes finding the perfect gift can be overwhelming!
For the more adult crowd, I’ve been sharing ideas through my holiday gift guide to cover the perfect present for the cook in your life (make sure to enter the KitchenAid Pasta Extruder Attachment giveaway!) and the small business owner / Type A gift recipient (the NeatDesk Giveaway is perfect for them!). How about the electronics enthusiast on your list? As someone who would rather receive tech gadgets than diamonds, you know I wouldn’t ignore this category!
My friends at T-Mobile and I are partnering up to share tips for holiday shopping – especially what to look for when buying electronics for those on your list. If you are a social media user (Twitter, Blog, etc) local to the Kansas City area contact me about the local event I’m hosting with T-Mobile next Thursday, December 8th. There is promise of great food, awesome swag bags and giveaways galore!
For the rest of you, T-Mobile wanted to let you in on the action too. They are giving away one T-Mobile myTouch (ARV $279) or one T-Mobile myTouch Q phone (ARV $279) to two lucky Dine & Dish readers! Both of these phones are feature rich, simple to use, run on the largest 4G T-Mobile network and would be an ideal gift for anyone on your gift list.
To enter the giveaways, simply answer this question in the comments section of this post: What is the biggest question you have when it comes to buying a wireless product as a gift?

My biggest question is how does the wireless product compare to others that are currently on the market? Is it going to be outdated within a month or two?
I wonder how it will affect their monthly bill.

Is it easy to use?
If I am buying a cell phone for someone I want to make sure it has the features they want, without making their phone bill too high. So my question would be how the new phone would effect their bill.
I follow t-mobile on facebook.
I, too, am concerned with how much the gift would impact the giftee’s wallet.

the biggest question is whether it’s user friendly or not
My biggest question when buying a wireless product as a gift is what is it going to cost the receiver month to month. These gifts cost so much as it is then you end up strapping the person with another monthly bill in order to enjoy it!

I always wonder if it is going to be user friendly!
I liked them on FB…
They just did one of the greatest things ever, once our service is up with our other server we are going over to T-Mobile. Our son just joined the Air Force and on Thanksgiving they let all the service men call home on their phones. What a great company.
I want to keep it as simple as possible for myself and the recipient…especially when it comes to the billing portion of the gift.
I always want to know if the phone will work in the areas they will use it. We live in a state that can have sketchy signals in the more rural areas and I need a phone that will either get a signal or roam in those areas but at least work 🙂
The biggest question I have is always price. I want to find the best possible deal.

How easy it is to use and how much would you need to pay each month.
My biggest question is always how will the coverage be with the network I choose.
How much does it cost? That’s always the question we have to ask first.
I just became a fan of T-Mobile of FB!
IS THERE SIGNAL IN MY AREA.
When I buy something as a gift, I always ask: What unique does this device have that others don’t?
I followed Tmobile on twitter and liked it on Facebook.
I also tweeter the message! Thanks
How easy will it be to transfer all their old contacts and info into the new phone– most of my friends and family love new technology, but they’re all kind of techno-challenged.
Being someone that is technologically inept, it would be important for me to find out how user friendly the wireless product is because I would hate to give something to someone that would be difficult to figure out!
I liked T-Mobile on Facebook!
Price!
My biggest questions is usually the basics how to turn it on and off. I also like to know how to take pics and videos with them so I can share my life with family that is far away
What is the monthly plan gonna cost me ? I love T mobile.
going over to tmobile on fb and liking you right now!
I would want to know how easy it is to transfer data onto the new phone from and old one…
I always want to know if it will fit with all of the other electronic gadgets that we own. Can they sync, run off the same network, etc.
I tweeted. 🙂
My biggest question is about price. Does a higher price always mean a better product?

How do I set things up to personalize the phone for me, making it easy use?
Pick me! Pick me! I need a new phone since my old one is really giving me trouble. Thanks for the great giveaway!
Will it have all of the features the gift recipient wants!
Just liked the t-mobile facebook page!
Does it synchronize with Outlook?
whether to get wifi or 3g
My first question would be about the service (in my area, on roaming). Then I’d found out about charges!
My first question is usually how easily switching to a new plan is for the person receiving the phone as a gift.
I would love a wireless gift. Thanks for the give~away.
I really like to look at reviews and see what others are saying. Then I plan my questions
Will it be outdated tomorrow or next year? I really hope not tomorrow.
my first question would be does the person already have the product {or the newest version}?
I always ask if there is service available in their or my area
I’m a t mobile fb fan
I always ask about how easy the phone will be to use! This looks like an awesome phone.
as a gift? darn I have a big enough issue buying one for myself….I really don’t know – cost I’m sure is part of it, & that would depend who its for?!?

My biggest question would be.. what if I buy the phone and end up not liking it after a couple of days?
Biggest question is always can they return this and get it exchanged for another one?
My biggest challenge is finding something that my dad can work. I get more phone calls after tech gifts! I try to remember to buy him a good manual with the gadget.
Maybe Speed and Network Should be good 😀
I am looking to buy a stand mixer in this festival season In India. Please provide me the details and Kitchenaid official website in India
