Friends, there are times when I get really stumped as to what to name a recipe. Take this tasty creation pictured above. We have a tender whole grain pizza crust topped with Wholly Salsa Avocado Verde, creamy goat cheese and roasted red peppers. It’s not really pizza, even though I used a pizza crust as a base. It’s filling enough for brunch or lunch, yet it’s also easy enough for an appetizer. Any ideas?
I think for now I’ll simply call it oh so good!
When my friends at Wholly Guacamole asked me to create a recipe for them using their products, I experimented quite a bit using different things but kept coming back to their Avocado Verde salsa. I love this stuff! It’s not super spicy, but has a kick. It’s so flavorful and made with all natural ingredients and no preservatives. I understand what every ingredient on the label is, and that’s important to me.

LOL, K! I love this post…and, I know I’d fall in love with Wholly Guacomole or Wholly Tex-Mex anything. Need to try…soon! When in doubt, when naming a recipe with a tasty avo ingredient, start with the word California. Since your recipe isn’t technically pizza, you could call it an open face pizza sandwich due to the toppings on the pizza crust. California Open Face Pizza Sandwich, and all of its variations, sounds good to me! Thanks for sharing and happy weekend, girl! xo
