The Early Show Episode 1 - Orange Theory Fitness, Zac Efron and More on dineanddish.net

Hi friends! Welcome to my first episode of The E.A.R.L.Y Show. The E.A.R.L.Y Show is all about:

  • E – What I’m Eating (maybe a recipe I’ve tried or a food product I’ve loved)
  • A – What I’m Asking (things I’ve been curious about and asked Google, Siri or Alexa)
  • R – What I’m Reading (this could be a book I’ve recently read or a blog post or magazine article I’ve found interesting)
  • L – What I’m Loving (anything I’ve come across lately that I’ve really, really loved)
  • Y – Your Turn (you get the chance to share some of this with me!)

You can watch the first 10 minutes episode below, but know it’s a little rusty. I’m definitely still learning and I’m actually looking to hire someone to do some simple video editing for me to pizazz these videos up some. Do you know of anyone? If so please have them email me!

Here’s Episode 1 of The E.A.R.L.Y Show. Scroll below for more information and links to some of the things I mentioned in this episode. Thanks for watching and I look forward to reading your responses!

I LOVE this!! I’m so glad you’re doing this. I’ve been doing a weekly FB Live called ConversationMatters and it’s been a great experiment!! Ix-Nay to the editing of your beautiful face, lady! LOVE the E.A.R.L.Y acronym. Go you! I have to say though that I don’t see it with Zac . . .

My new favorite LOVE book is The Wisdom of Menopause by Dr. Northrup – – omg we ALL need to have this book!

Oh girl, you know how I love pens. I am totally going to get one of those. Thank you!
And yes…get on The Alice Network. It’s along but good read!
That interview way back when was so much fun! It pops up in my feed every once in awhile and I get such a kick out of it!

Kristin! I love that you’re doing this and am so glad Heidi linked to it over on her Friday Favs. Such a fun idea and I can’t wait to watch more from you. I have been meaning to get back into youtube myself and you’ve inspired me even more.
So a new app I just found out about that maybe you’d like – Cutstory. It’s great for those of us who like to talk and have conversations on IG Stories and Snapchat. You basically record your full video on your phone, then put it in the app, and it’ll break it down into 15 second increments for IG (or whatever app you need it to break it down for). Maybe you already know about this sort of thing, but I thought it was genius!
I hope you have a great weekend Kristin. This was just what I needed after feeling a heavy heart from the latest shooting.

I’m absolutely going to check out Cutstory. Thank you! And I didn’t realize Heidi had linked to me…so sweet. I love her Friday Faves and am so touched.

This past week has been a hard one, I absolutely agree. So proud of how the kids from that school are advocating though. But it’s sad that they have to.

I just found your site. I love the EARLY video. Great idea. All the items you talked about were right up my ally. Zac Effron crushing is so funny because my daughter and I did the same thing. It felt real creepy. Thanks for the fun break.

Terri – that’s hilarious about you and your daughter 🙂 Glad we’re not alone. He’s such a cutie!

I’m an Orangetheory fanatic, too! I started in June this past year and was looking for more of a healthy workout than expecting to lose weight. I’ve lost about 10 pounds and a pants size since joining without changing anything in my diet. It’s not cheap, but it’s so worth it!

Great video – and great idea!

Hi Terri – It really is a great work out. So fun! I’ve definitely noticed a difference in how my clothes are feeling and overall strength and endurance. I love OTF for that, alone. It’s well worth the price, I agree!

Loved it!! Haven’t made fried rice in awhile – sounds like lunch today with leftovers my teenaged son can reheat after school. Will definitely check out the book recommendation!

Surprised to see an orange theory in my general area as I had never heard of it but 60 minutes of exercise is way beyond this out of shape body’s abilities! Glad you found something you enjoy!

Just had to mention I tried the recipe but used riced Cauliflower instead of rice and it’s delicious! Husband and son didn’t even even notice. LOL! Thanks for for this weeks “E”….

They did! My father-in-law saw it too and said it was “magnificent”. Have you seen it yet? You must get there before it goes out of the theaters. It’s such a great show!
