This event made me think I needed a deep fryer too! Your donuts look awesome!

Darling donuts! It’s nice to know that a deep frying pan worked out. I’ve always been afraid of the large amounts of hot oil.

Oh yum…I wasn’t going to make donuts (deep frying sort of freaks me out), but after seeing them on so many blogs, I’m definitely craving them!

Your doughnuts look gorgeous! And I bet they taste great too! I’m back from Mardi Gras, but not much to tell, we deciced to visit my parents and it was so quiet there this year, no parades, which I thought they would have, as I was anxious to take pictures… Happy Valentine’s Day!

Okay, I so want to get up the courage to try these. They look great, but, I fail at anything with yeast. Kristen, they look so good. Great job!

Well, at least you went and made some…which is what we wanted people to do! Great job.

Wow, congrats on the doughnuts! I remember making homemade doughnuts one winter Saturday with my mom. It seemed to take all day long from a child’s perspective and seemed oh so difficult. Of course, we were using a good ‘ol wood-burning oven. They were so light and airy and fresh in the end.

You make me smile Kristen. I don’t do doughnuts either, except I did for those two. I came so close to getting a deep fryer for this but if I’d done that I’d probably really start doing doughnuts. Then I’d be wondering "WHO" am I.
Your doughnuts look grand. There really is nothing tastier than a fresh from the fat doughnut or hole!

They really look delicious. Homemade donuts are still one of the best.
