Oh yum…I wasn’t going to make donuts (deep frying sort of freaks me out), but after seeing them on so many blogs, I’m definitely craving them!

Those look so good!!! Do you ever post recipes on Recipezaar? I really enjoy that site.

I tried to send you email this morning, but I’m not sure if it went through or not?! Here’s my email… spaminator@biglers.org

    Talk to you soon,
    Kathy…

Your doughnuts look gorgeous! And I bet they taste great too! I’m back from Mardi Gras, but not much to tell, we deciced to visit my parents and it was so quiet there this year, no parades, which I thought they would have, as I was anxious to take pictures… Happy Valentine’s Day!

You’ve done it again Kristen! Gorgeous looking doughnuts! I love the picture with the plate full of doughnuts in the background, very beautiful.

Okay, I so want to get up the courage to try these. They look great, but, I fail at anything with yeast. Kristen, they look so good. Great job!

Wow, congrats on the doughnuts! I remember making homemade doughnuts one winter Saturday with my mom. It seemed to take all day long from a child’s perspective and seemed oh so difficult. Of course, we were using a good ‘ol wood-burning oven. They were so light and airy and fresh in the end.

You make me smile Kristen. I don’t do doughnuts either, except I did for those two. I came so close to getting a deep fryer for this but if I’d done that I’d probably really start doing doughnuts. Then I’d be wondering "WHO" am I.
Your doughnuts look grand. There really is nothing tastier than a fresh from the fat doughnut or hole!
