Since joining the team at Alexia Foods as one of their blogger tastemakers, I’ve had a fun time trying to recreate old classic recipes using some of my favorite Alexia Food products.
You might recall the Sweet Potato Casserole Bites I made awhile back, using Alexia Sweet Potato Puffs. Well, I’m at it again, but this time using Alexia’s Onion Rings!

And now, for the recipe!
I’m sure many of you have had Hot Onion Dip. Well, I took Hot Onion Dip one step further and added crunchy and delicious Alexia Panko Breaded Onion Rings in place of chopped onions. The crunch of the onion rings with the creamy cheesy dip was absolute perfection… especially when served in sweet bell peppers!
I look forward to browsing your pictures and hope you enjoy this recipe!
Baked Onion Ring Dip
Ingredients
- 1/2 package Alexia Panko Breaded Onion Rings baked according to package directions
- 1 1/2 packages cream cheese softened
- 1 cup Romano cheese grated
- 1/4 cup mayonaise
- 1 dash Kosher salt
- 4 bell peppers top removed and seeded
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Mix together cream cheese, Romano cheese, mayonnaise and Kosher salt.
- Take 1/2 of the Alexia Panko Breaded Onion Rings and coarsely chop. Mix chopped onion rings into cheese mixture.
- Fill each bell pepper with the cheese mixture and place in an 8-inch square baking dish.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and hot and slightly browned on top.
- Serve hot with additional onion rings, crackers or fresh vegetables.
Disclosure: I’m happy to be a part of the Alexia Tastemaker bloggers group. Alexia has compensated me for being part of their program. I am sharing part of a gift card compensation as the prize for this giveaway. All opinions expressed are my own!

She loves those fries as do I; they are made from organic potatoes and don’t contain scary ingredients/stuff that she and I can’t have (e.g., soy, onion [sorry], garlic, dairy, palm oil, etc.), for which we’re thankful.
