2014 Summer of Fun Bucket List

Dine and Dish 2014 Summer of Fun Bucket List Summer activities for kidsHi friends! Sorry for the silence around here lately. My parents have been visiting and we have been busy wrapping up the last few weeks of school! Today is the first day of our summer vacation, which happens to be my most favorite time of the year! We’ve had an awesome first day…if today is anything like how the rest of the summer is going to be, it’s going to be a great one!!

Like we do every year, my kids and I have come up with a list of activities we hope to get done before the summer is over. We always tend to overshoot just a bit, which is fine, but at least our list gives us some focus on those days where we may not have a clue as to what to do. I love the lazy days of summer, but I love also having our bucket list to go off of so we can make sure to have as much fun as possible in the next couple of months!

You can check out our 2013 Summer Bucket List here and our 2012 Summer Bucket List here. We always carry some favorite activities over from summer to summer. Make sure to follow our Summer of Fun Pinterest boards too to see things that might get added after today! Without further ado, here is our Dine & Dish 2014 Summer of Fun Bucket List!

So much to do; so little time! I think I’ll be living vicariously through you. My list will be like Groundhog Day. Plan a garden. Dig up a garden. Plant in a garden. etc etc. I have a LOT of work to do in my yard this year if you can call some rock and some sod a yard. :)

You make me so excited for school aged kids. This list is so wonderful- I especially love the road trip with no destination. PS I am ignoring the fact that Captain sundae isn’t on this list… ;-)

We are going to camp overnight at Shawnee Mission Park.

Let me know when you play flash light tag. That was my favorite game.

I love your bucket list! Between you and Jessica (How Sweet) I am totally excited to make a Summer bucket list for my family. My kids would love to spend the Summer at your house. How about two more boys?? Hee! Can you believe my kids still have one month left of school?!

I love your list full of fun stuff from big to small and everything in between. And you know? It’s got me thinking. I way too task oriented these
days. Now I am curious what I am going to come with for myself once I get started. See I am having fun already. Thank you.
