Project 365 2013: Our Life in Photos January 13th – 19th

Project 365 January 13-19th

(My favorite Instagram photo from the week)

January 13th: Ella got a guitar for Christmas. Today, she broke it out in pure rock style fashion… complete with sunglasses and torn tights. I’ve committed to try and take all of my Project 365 pictures with my DSLR, but if I hadn’t, this Instagram picture would have been in this spot.

January 14th: Leah and her best friend Natalie had a playdate at our house today. While I worked on my Project Life journaling, they had a stuffed animal town  hall meeting and tea party.

January 15th: I absolutely love my 2013 Focus Word necklace from The Rusted Chain. It’s a great visual reminder of my focus to simplify this year.

January 16th: We’re trying to make homework time more fun at our house, so each kid got to create a “homework” station. Ella’s wanted hers to be a cupcake shop. So far, it’s helping to eliminate some of the distractions that happen during homework time. I hope it continues to work.

January 17th: Leah, in the house, with one of her many random outfits. Gloves, a hat and froggy pajamas. I  love this Instagram outtake just as much!

January 18th: Pre-school goodbye hugs for the dog.

January 19th: Jacob and his sidekick enjoying today’s gorgeous 60 degree weather. A dog and baseball…what more could a boy want?

That’s it for our week in pictures! Remember you can see outtakes on Instagram, Facebook and Flickr!

LOVE your pictures Kristen. I love the perspective you shoot from…. focusing on the stuffed animal, the cute pic of your daughter close up that doesn’t include her whole face, etc. I’ll challenge myself to shoot from different viewpoints, angles this week. I’m loving my 365 attempt so far! :) Have a great start to your week!!!

Thank you so much, Kim. It’s something I am challenging myself on changing up a bit. I think next week I’m going to try all b&w pictures as a challenge!

I’m loving your Project 365 so much!!! I started out trying to do it and I liked it a lot but it’s getting away from me already! I’m not nearly as organized as I need to be and I leave for Alt in two days. I woke up this morning with the beginning of a COLD, too! Anyway, I’ll follow your Project 365 and pick mine up again soon. Really glad you pointed out it didn’t have to be from Jan 1-Jan1. Not sure why that never occurred to me! :)

That picture Ella with the guitar is so cute! When she gets older, in fact when all your kids get older, they are going to love to able to look back through so many fab pics! Also, the homework station is a great idea. My brothers and I would construct folder forts and then shout for our mom when somebody knocked it down or was poking it with a pen/pencil. Wish I had one of those when I was younger.

Kristen, such fabulous photos! My fave, by far, is Ella wearing shades while playing her new guitar! Your children are definitely going to enjoy looking back at all the photos. You are creating such fun memories for them. Thank you for sharing! xoxo

Lower Manufacturing Costs First Solar’s manufacturing costs per watt fell 75. Go for the company to do the job, and replace the Xcell Roofing material best suited for your area. They last the lifetime of the roof we put on. Generally speaking, having a regular maintenance program is essential.
