Thinking of You {A Harry & David Giveaway} CLOSED

This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to winner, Jackie Davis! Thanks to all who entered.

There are few greater feelings in the world than knowing you’ve helped to make someones day special. When I asked the question “Do you prefer to give or receive?” on the Dine & Dish Facebook Page, so many of you agreed that giving is the way to go! Your answers helped to inspire this special Harry & David giveaway today.

Harry & David… you know, the company who pretty much rules the gift giving roost… has offered to give one lucky Dine & Dish reader the opportunity to help make the day of someone else special. Yes! You get to let me know in the comments section who you would like to see receive a gorgeous Pear Medley Gift Basket. Giving is great and now is your chance to nominate someone you think is pretty special to receive something special.

I had a hard time picking out which basket to offer, simply because Harry & David has so many great gift baskets to choose from. However, after visiting their orchard and tasting their amazing pears this past summer, I knew that sharing their incredible fruit would be a unique gift, worthy of someone special.

To enter to win the giveaway to share a special Pear Medley Harry & David gift basket, just follow the instructions in the Rafflecopter widget below.

Either my dad or my best friend in oregon. I think they could use a special treat with the stuff going on right now!

I would send it to the visitors services staff at the United State Holocaust Memorial Museum, where my father work until he passed away this year. He used to bring in food to share with them all the time. I think it would be nice to surprise them, as a way of saying thank you for all the love they’ve showed my family this year.

I would like to give this basket to my mom, Doris. She is an amazing woman and a total “giver”. She recently learned she has diabetes and this fruit basket would be a very nice gift for her and would be very healthy for her.

I would send this to my dear Mother. She recently had a birthday and always says she does not “need” anything. “No gifts please!” This would be a great surprise on her doorstep to let her know I think of her often even though I am thousands of miles away. And let her know that I appreciate her gift to me, life and teaching me that giving IS WAY better than receiving!

I’d like to send a Harry and David gift basket to my fiance. He loves gourmet food and fruit and I’d like him to keep eating healthy!
