Fair Trade Month and a Keurig Mini Plus Brewer Giveaway!

October is jam packed full of important things… breast cancer awareness, international walk to school events, a certain someones birthday… but did you know that October is also National Fair Trade Month? It is! I’m helping Green Mountain Coffee to celebrate Fair Trade Month by offering you a unique Keurig Mini Plus Brewer giveaway!

What does Fair Trade mean? Well, with Green Mountain Coffee Roasters® it means coffee farmers get a fair price for the beans they grow.  That means they can invest in crops, their communities, and their futures.  Green Mountain Coffee® has been a leader in the fair trade movement, providing a better cup of coffee to consumers and a better quality of life for coffee farmers. Their commitment to Fair Trade makes me very proud to be one of their ambassadors.

For a better understanding of how Fair Trade works, check out this infographic on Fair Trade USA that demonstrates what happens when you choose products with the Fair Trade Certified label (like Green Mountain Coffee).

My friends at Green Mountain Coffee have provided Dine & Dish readers with a special discount code for all Fair Trade Certified Products on www.greenmountaincoffee.com. Simply use code GMCFTC8125 at checkout between now and November 5th for 10% off already reduced Fair Trade Certified products!

Also, to celebrate National Fair Trade Month, Green Mountain Coffee is giving one lucky Dine & Dish reader the chance to win a special Keurig Mini Plus Brewer in Orange and one box of Fair Trade Certified Pumpkin Spice K-Cup packs! This mini brewer is great for traveling, college dorms, a private office and more! Take your Keurig with you and never be without your perfect cup of coffee.

To enter the giveaway, simply follow the instructions in the Rafflecopter widget! And remember to shop fair trade whenever you can!

Thanks and good luck!

P.S. See those muffins in the pictures above? Those are the easiest pumpkin muffins ever. Recipe can be found on my 2011 birthday post!
