Chicago Cutlery DesignPro Knife Set Giveaway! CLOSED

This giveaway is now closed. Congrats to Nicole Newman! Thanks to all for entering.

Knives are one of those things you don’t really appreciate how bad the ones you have are until you have a set of really awesome ones. You don’t know that slicing an apple shouldn’t count as your upper arm workout for the day. It’s possible you may not understand cutting into a fresh loaf of bread doesn’t mean completely demolishing each piece as you try to carve each slice. A really GREAT set of knives can make all the difference in the kitchen, which is what I discovered when I received a set of Chicago Cutlery DesignPro Knives. A sharp, well designed knife can easily be your most important utensil and can save you so much time as you work.

This summer I struggled with simply slicing tomatoes with ease… my old knives were even recently professionally sharpened, they just weren’t built for the job. Now that I have a set of Chicago Cutlery DesignPro knives, I understand that slicing into a tomato isn’t supposed to be a struggle. A good knife will slide right through with ease.

Chicago Cutlery DesignPro Knives feature a well designed grip that guides your hand to the right position on the knife for superior control and cutting. I’ve noticed a huge difference when chopping, slicing, carving, etc. The design of the handle gives me the confidence and control I want.

My friends at Chicago Cutlery have offered to give one lucky Dine & Dish reader a pair of knives. Up for the giveaway is one (1) DesignPro Bread Knife and one (1) DesignPro Partoku knife (my new favorite)!

My husband and I are rebuilding our home after divorces. We were given a hand me down set of free knives from a relative. We could use a set of good knives to be able to prepare food more easily.

I love to cook and I always seem to be either sharpening my dull knives, or trying to cut without sharpening them. Both leave me frustrated!! I would LOVE to have some REAL knives!! :-)

We desperately need new knives in our house! Cutting up fruits and veggies for my little girl shouldn’t be a health hazard!

I can’t believe how often I think I am going to cut my hand instead of slice my food because my knife is soooo bad.

I’ve started cooking a primarily vegetarian diet. I’d love the Chicago Cutlery DesignPro Knives to help prep go faster.

I have never had good knives, but taking a knife skills class is on my list this year! I’d love having good knives to cut all of the veggies we eat.

I have a knife I purchased at Williams-Sonoma years ago that I use for almost everything in the kitchen but I don’t have a set of knives.

Jobless right now but new knives for preping are on my wish list.

These are beautiful knifes. I always believe to use the best tools/equipment for the job would cut the prepping time tremendously. I would love to have these beauties in my kitchen. :)

Oh yeah, a pair of new knives would help with so many things in my kitchen, as we buy things in bulk, like meats, and cut them down to fit into smaller freezer bags. We also like to eat a lot of fruits & veggies, and a new set of knives would really help!

I’m a college student for one more semester! My dad bought me cheap-o knives (which I’m very grateful to have) but don’t compare to what I learned to cook with. New knives would be a great start to my new adventure in the “real world”.

I’ve been eating a lot of watermelon this summer and they are SO hard to cut when you don’t have a good knife! I’d love a good one to be able to cut it up nice and quickly!
