Can’t wait to share another California Avocado recipe that I am making tonight!!
One of my favorite ways to enjoy avacado…
One ripe avacado, chunked
One ripe tomato, chunked
Two hard boiled eggs, coarsely chopped
Pensey’s Florida pepper to taste
Sea salt to taste
Serves 2.
Oh, I love Penzeys! In fact, all my spices (with the exception of crystallized ginger, not really a spice) are from there! I love their simple packaging!
I’ve entered – thanks for the opportunity!

I really like frito pie/leftover chile with smashed avocado, lime, garlic, tomato and onion on top.
Following, liked and tweeted!!
Looking forward to creating some new avocado recipes
I always feel silly leaving a comment that just says, “Hey! Guess what? I liked them on facebook.” So here’s a little something extra. I use my 8″ chef knife to remove the pit. I just chop right in the center of that pit, twist and voila! I know, this is not a new trick……
Here’s my comment about following them on twitter. I love avocados. I especially love them in tortilla soup, where they get creamier due to the heat of the soup. I won’t eat tortilla soup without the avocado!
And finally, here is my comment about tweeting about the contest. All contests ask you to tweet about them, but I actually wanted to tweet about this. Not only because I want to win (of course), but also because I hope to find some great avocado recipes – even if it’s just adding a little something extra to my guacamole, like craisins.
I added a recipe and tweeted!
I just linked a recipe for Avocado with Tortillas Chips =)
Thanks for hosting the giveaway and linky party.
