Babycakes Cupcake Maker & Cookbook Giveaway

This giveaway is now closed. The winner, chosen by Random.org was Nancy from Loves To Create. Congratulations, Nancy and thank you to everyone for entering!

Cooking with kids is fun, right? I mean, aside from the giant sacks of flour dumping on the floor, the turning around and always tripping over someone, constant verbal instructions – repeated numerously – of what to do next, it’s a blast. Really.

Truthfully… it isn’t always fun to cook with kids, but it is such an important skill for them to learn. I’ll be the first to admit I’m not the most patient of moms when my kids are in the kitchen with me. Sometimes I just want to be left alone, but then I’ll remember how this one skill will take them through life and I try to chill out.

I’ve recently been given a Babycakes Cupcake Maker and can share with you that this little machine actually does make cooking with kids fun! It’s not something young kids can handle completely on their own, but my older two can certainly whip out a thing of cupcakes using this with no problems.

The Babycakes Cupcake Maker is kind of deceiving because you can do so much more in it than simple cupcakes. Cheesecakes, bite size cream pies, savory wonton or tortilla cups, poached eggs… the possibilities for both sweet and savory treats are endless! From simple to elegant, kid friendly to dinner party worthy, the Babycakes Cupcake Maker is an appliance worth making space for.

Cooking with my fiancé sounds a whole lot like cooking with kids, but I sure am thankful for him. And delivery when he mistakes two cups of baking powder for two teaspoons…

I am thankful for having such an amazing first 4.5 months of marriage. It’s such a wonderful learning process being married, and I love it!

I am also thankful for finding new friends after relocating when I got married. I knew about 50 people who lived in my apartment complex alone at my last location, so this was a big change!

That is a nifty lil appliance!! So cool you don’t have to fire up the oven just for a batch of cupcakes. Two things I am most grateful for: Very Super Bad Child Number One and Very Super Bad Child Number Two :)

First of all, your kids are totally cute. Love them!! And I totally agree that it’s not always easy to cook with kids, you just have to get past the messes!!

Only 2 things I’m grateful for? I could name 200, but I’ll say good friends and a hard working husband. Those are especially true today!
