Avocados are my absolute, number-one most favorite food on the planet. I shudder to even admit this, but I’d rather eat an avocado than dark chocolate (did I just say that?). Here in the Boston area, we are lucky to get avocados year round … by my favorites are definitely the domestic avocados from the beautiful state of California. I make a mean avocado tarragon sauce that I love to put on grilled salmon or chicken. Hooray for avocados!!

Oh, man, I love avocados so much. I don't get to eat them much because my husband doesn't care for them, and it would therefore be incumbent on me to finish the whole thing as fast as possible, and while I definitely CAN do that, I get the impression that perhaps I shouldn't.

Chunks of avocado seasoned with the spice mixture that Ben Holtz sent with some of the salsa that also came with the avocados scooped up with blue corn tortilla chips. An excellent lunch if I do say so myself! Thank you, Ben, Mimi, and the whole family for this wonderful treat.
