I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to do a guest post over at Lucullian Delights talking all about food photography and food props. That is a very interesting photo. Lot of color and the background is amazingly conducive to the subject. Was this photo with a tilt shift lens? or with a macro?

Awesome! Always looking for good tips. I feel like I’m in a bit of a food photo rut now… maybe it’s time for a new lens
I’m embarrassed to admit that I just never have time to take a nice picture. Dinner’s on and folks are hungry and the last thing anyone wants is for me to pose the plate, or even get out the nice camera. As a result, I’m strictly an iPhone camera type these days. And as such, I’m very much in awe of those who do it right. Eating is not just about putting food down the gullet, it’s about the entire experience, and our peepers are just as important as any other sensory organ in that respect. Cheers!
