Over the years, I happily was charged with picking her gifts each birthday and Christmas. I loved buying nostalgic toys for her, like My Little Pony and Hello Kitty garb. It really hit me today when I picked Brandon up from his first day of kindergarten how big he is now. I cried watching him walk to the end of the pick-up cul-de-sac and he was just so big and confident. He was just there in his yellow shirt with his Spiderman bag and just...ohhhhh. It felt like my heart was full and I was getting punched in the stomach at the same time. Know what I mean? My kids are getting more adventerous in the vegetable department. Chopsticks. They will eat anything as long as I give them chopsticks. :) Isn’t it amazing how fast that happens?
