I am with you on this one. Just sat down last night and made a menu for the next 12 weeks off of school. That three a day thing is a killer plus two healthy snacks a day for my growing boys, well the girl too actually. I did make a list of ideas for lunch as well so it isn't pbj everyday. I have charts everywhere!

Your kids are so lucky to enjoy a treat like these. In the summer, I like easy recipes like wraps and dips that don't require heating up the house.

That's a good plan and these are a lovely way to kick things off! I never thought to fill scones with a savoury topping before. I will have to have a think. Have a great summer!

My kids love to have picnics during the summer. We eat fruit with cheese and crackers and maybe bring bottles of lemonade. We can eat at the park or even just in the back yard. It is such a simple thing but it makes them so happy.

You're such a good mommy. My kids wouldn't know what hit them if I fixed them breakfast every day! I'm sure I must have made their breakfasts and lunches when they were younger. Although I know that we used to put a sippy cup of milk in the refrigerator and a bowl of cereal in the cupboard at night, and the oldest (around 3 yrs old) would come in our room in the morning to tell us she was awake and then go and eat her breakfast and let us sleep another 15 minutes or so!
