I made these tonight for a dinner party dessert and they turned out nicely. Because I was using a 13×9 pan, I doubled the recipe but then saved 1/4 of the dough for later. We served the bars in bowls with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream – yum! I’d like them to be a bit more moist (they weren’t VERY dry, just not as moist as I’d like), so do you have any suggestions what to add/reduce for that without really changing the flavor?

I made these last week for book club and they were quickly devoured! What a great recipe. So much faster/easier than the cookies. So good, in fact, I made two batches yesterday and plan to take them to work tomorrow. Of course, we’ll have to sample a few here at home before I share them with my co-workers! My hubby thinks they’d be a great dessert with vanilla ice cream. Kind of like a blondie brownie. Thanks, Kristen!

I made these yesterday, and they were great! Soooo easy, and they tasted just like the cookie version. I did use an 8x8 dish, since that's what I had, and they were a little thicker than I would have liked. Great recipe, though. Hope you're enjoying your vacation!
