I love home made bread! I try to have it every day. It can be hard with my busy schedule, though. When I’m pressed for time, I pull out my favorite bread machine mix and use my bread machine to mix and knead the dough. Then I take it out and bake it in my oven. This saves alot of time, however, there is a satisfaction of baking from scratch.

Thank you so, so, so much for this PERFECT recipe. It was exactly what my family was looking for! I actually added an extra yeast packet, and my rolls got huge (just what we wanted). Sifting the flour made the rolls extra fluffy. You can see a pic of the results here: http://kelsietrpt.livejournal.com

Bread was one of the few things my mom didn't make from scratch - probably because with 5 children, we just went through bread too fast. But she did always make homemade rolls for holidays, and those are still my favorite! I actually have a bread machine, but I like to knead by hand for some crazy reason. These rolls look perfect! I don’t have a bread machine but I don’t really mind kneading the dough. I find it relaxing, when I’m not rushed! I’m definitely trying these.

I adore the idea of homemade bread on the table every night. It's what I think of when I think of times past when women would spend the entire day making the evening meal for the family. I'm certain we're all greatful for the progress we've made since those times, but from time to time I wish that I could put the time and effort into food that my great-grand parents did. I've asked for Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day for Christmas and if Santa doesn't bring it, I'm getting it for myself! I use my bread machine for making dough too, I don't like using it to bake bread it doesn't seem to come out well. I'm always on the lookout for new recipes to try, these rolls are next on my list! Sams last blog post..Stollen

I too love using the dough cycle on my bread machine - it just makes it so much easier! I can't really knead dough all that well, it hurts my wrist. But we just moved, and my bread machine is now stored three feet above my head on top of the cupboards, so it doesn't get pulled out as much. I haven’t yet tackled baking with yeast. I’m a bit scared, yet I love fresh homemade bread, so I’m going to have to get over my fear! Your rolls look delicious!

Thanks so much for commenting on my blog today. My little puppy is a Shorkie. His mom is a Shih Tzu and his dad is a Yorkie. It’s the perfect cross in my opinion. He is just the BEST dog we have ever had, and our first small dog. I am convinced and will only have small dogs from now on

Mmmmm... this bread sounds so delicious! I can almost SMELL it. I have a bread machine and LOVE it, but haven't tried just using the dough setting. I'll have to try it sometime.
