After I read your menu planning Monday I too decided to make these Bierocks this week, after all I’m half German. They are so GREAT! I’m not used to working with dough so the first part was a challenge. I will post my step by step process of making bierocks on my blog early next week. Thanks for the inspiration!

That bathroom thing happens to me, without fail, when I’m in the bookstore. Thirty minutes of free time to browse the cookbook section to my heart’s content, and I all the sudden have to go … NOW.

I think that I’ve finally met some one that is as impatient as me in the kitchen! I made moussaka over the weekend and thought that I was going to die before it was finished.

I love bierocks! Haven't made them since I lived in Germany. I think its time! I am an instant gratification gal myself and have ruined many recipes trying to rush. Delurking here. I had to, you are the only other person outside my family that knows what bierocks are!! (Well, I see at least one other commenter does too, but you know what I mean.) They are awesome and I haven’t had them in ages. Might be a good weekend to introduce them to the hubby. Thanks for the reminder of this favorite childhood favorite.

I know what you mean about the “going to the bathroom” situation. But I am like that when I take my daughter to go. She has to. Not me but when I am in there suddenly I can barely wait for her to finish as I have to go so badly!

I’m the same way with the bathroom, lol! It’s funny, but… not so much actualy…
